Flea infestation is a common diagnosis. We know that pet owners become frustrated when they apply the flea treatment that they have bought and it doesn’t work, then the 10-minute vet consultation is not long enough to understand how to action an effective treatment plan.
At Aniderm, I am able to provide you with an independent and unbiased view on treating your pet for fleas, mange & mites and we will be happy to help clarify any concerns you have on a live video or telephone call.
It’s also worth saying that some practices may be restricted in the products they can offer which means your pet may miss out on the opportunity to benefit from more some of the more modern and effective treatments I am able to suggest.
Fox mange (Scabies)
Scabies, from my experience, is also another condition that is affecting more and more pets and an increasing urban population of foxes venturing into people’s gardens is one way how this horrible disease can be transmitted. It is also a zoonosis, meaning that Scabies can spread to people and cause very intense itching and discomfort.

I get a lot of requests from owners to help treat allergic skin problems in their dogs. After spending time with them to fully discuss their pets’ condition, I have found that a lot of these dogs have not had treatment for scabies and after a brief treatment trial their skin condition has improved as well as the owner’s skin!

Should you or anybody in your household have skin lesions, we advise you to contact your G.P. in the first instance. You are most welcome to consult with Aniderm online should you be concerned about your pet.
